Listening to local birds outside our villa, watching the monkeys play in the wild and breakfasting on fresh fruit and granola: all significant hardships. And vaguely debating over who gets their favorite infinity pool spot is probably the biggest problem of our day out here in Wapa di Ume. Put simply? Complete and utter bliss.
We’ve always dreamt about the perfection of Ubud’s infinity pools and it has been on our bucket list since we’ve first met Instagram. Being here, it was even better than our imagination.
It’s a little bit pricey but if you’re going for a honeymoon or a special occasion, this is a really great hotel. It has two, well basically three public (infinity) pools amongst rice fields and Balinese jungle. But there’s plenty of choice for private pools, so this is what we’ve booked. One of the things we loved most about our stay was the flower bath they’ve prepared us, overlooking the rain forest and terraces. The cuisine of @mrwayanubud was incredible, too – traditional food from the volcanic island of Bali. And this place is just 5 minutes’ drive away from hustle and bustle of Ubud! Thank you Wapa Di Ume, for being so perfect.
