What equipment will you find in our camera bag

This is the question we probably get most asked about on Instagram – see below for our camera equipment breakdown:

Nikon D750

We’ve been using this camera for the past year and a half. We first bought the Nikon D3200 and it was a good camera to learn from. When we got better at shooting we decided to upgrade to D750 that has now been the camera we’ve been using for 99 % of our Instagram photos, unless we’ve stated otherwise. The lens that we have is AF-S NIKKOR 24-120 mm lens. We are planning to buy various lenses in the near future and also a more efficient camera for videos – the downfall of D750 is its video capabilities.

GoPro 7 Hero Black

It’s a versatile waterproof camera, small and simple to use. We use it most frequently when it comes to shooting underwater in tropical destinations. We’d recommend this one to all travelers wanting something uncomplicated to shoot with, and sportsmen. It’s so tiny and can be transported anywhere with no fuss. It also makes insanely smooth 4k videos.

PolarPro FiftyFifty Dome

This is the dome we use with our GoPro to get those beautiful over-under style photos.

Dji Mavic Pro

We opted for the Mavic instead of Phantom due to its size and weight. The Mavic Pro has been great, it’s compact, fits easily in a backpack or pocket & we just love using it! It gives an unimaginable perspective, high-quality results and takes a smooth 4K aerial video in the sky.

Spare DJI Mavic Pro Batteries

We own two of these in case we’re out all day and don’t have time to charge our drone.

Velbon EX-540 Tripod

Another question we get asked a lot is who takes our photos. So, the secret is out! When we are both in the shot we mostly use our tripod. Velbon EX-540 is not the best tripod you can get but we chose ours back when we were still using our first camera – it was cheap, lightweight and easy to use for the beginner. However, you want to make sure to invest in a tripod as you do not want your expensive camera gear falling off because it’s not strong enough to hold it. So make sure to look for the best combination of functionality, design, and price.

Hard Drives

Not really camera equipment, but you want to keep your photos safe, so it’s essential. We’re using “WD My Passport” brand – duh?! 🙂

SD Card

We use the SanDisk Extreme PRO Card 95MB/S 32GB – fast and perfect for shooting. When traveling, we have at least four SD cards. It’s a personal preference thing, but we think it’s better to use multiple SD cards and constantly switch them out – if you have all your data on one card and something happens to the card (lost, broken, corrupt, etc.) then you loose everything you have done since your last import.

Macbook Pro 13″ Retina Touch Bar 512GB (2018 Model)

This is the laptop that we use for all our editing on Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

iPhone 11

We’ve recently made this purchase to upgrade our IG stories. It is what we use for most of our IG story videos and sometimes even video posts! A new ultra-wide camera captures four times more scene and night mode makes low‑light photos look much more natural and brighter.

LowePro FASTPACK BP 250 AW II Backpack

This is the camera backpack we use at the moment. It has great dividers and easy access to lenses. It is designed to fit a DSLR, 2-3 extra lenses, a 15-inch laptop, tablet, tripod and space for your personal gear. We still haven’t found a great camera backpack that looks good too, but for now this one works.

Hey Justin, thanks so much!! We are actually using a theme from Tonic Site Shop called Cosmopolitan – wrote more about it in this post (and one more coming soon): https://passagepassport.com/the-new-passagepassport-com/ . Tonic templates are best in the bizz 🙂 So customisable and all sites are working smooth through Showit x WordPress… Hope this was somewhat helpful! Take care and stay safe, too. Xx, Lara & Uros
